How to Point Your Domain to 7M HOST

Your domain stays registered wherever you bought it (for example GoDaddy, Namecheap or Dynadot). You only need to update its DNS records so they point to our server.

Records to add

In your domain registrar’s DNS settings, create or update these records:

Type Name / Host Value
A @ 165.227.3.19
A www 165.227.3.19
A mail 165.227.3.19
MX @ mail.yourdomain.com (priority 10)

Only add the mail and MX records if you want to use 7M HOST for email. If your email is hosted elsewhere (for example Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), leave your existing MX records unchanged.

How long does it take?

DNS changes usually take effect within an hour, but can take up to 24-48 hours to reach everyone worldwide.

Next steps

Once your domain loads from our server, enable free SSL. If you are unsure how to edit DNS at your registrar, open a ticket and tell us where your domain is registered.
