These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the web hosting, domain and related services provided by 7M HOST (“we”, “us”) through 7mhost.com and my.7mhost.com. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and provide accurate contact and billing details.
- You are responsible for keeping your passwords safe and for everything that happens under your account.
- Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
2. Services and plan limits
Each hosting plan includes the resources described on our Web Hosting page, such as the number of websites, storage, databases and email accounts. Hosting is shared: to keep the service fast for everyone, an account that uses an unreasonable share of server resources (CPU, memory or disk activity) may be limited, and we will contact you to discuss an upgrade.
3. Billing, renewals and payments
- Services are billed in advance for the term you choose (monthly, 12 months or 24 months).
- Services renew automatically at the end of each term at the plan’s regular price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Promotional discounts, such as launch coupons, apply only to the term stated in the offer, usually your first billing period.
- If a payment fails, we will remind you. Services with unpaid invoices may be suspended and, if still unpaid, terminated.
- Prices may change for future terms; we will give notice before a change applies to your renewal.
4. Refunds
- Hosting: new hosting customers may cancel within 30 days of their first hosting purchase for a full refund of that hosting charge.
- Domains: domain registrations, renewals and transfers cannot be refunded once processed, because they are paid to the registry immediately.
- Renewals and add-on services are not refundable after they start, except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use our services to:
- break any law, or host content that infringes the copyright, trademark or other rights of others;
- send unsolicited bulk email (spam), or host sites promoted through spam;
- host phishing pages, malware, viruses or other harmful code;
- attack, scan or attempt to break into other systems;
- host content that sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or harassment, or is otherwise illegal;
- run cryptocurrency mining, game servers, public file-sharing or other activities that overload shared servers.
We may remove content, suspend or terminate services that break these rules, with or without notice where needed to protect our servers, customers or the public.
6. Backups and your data
We run regular automatic backups to help with recovery, but backups are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your websites, databases and email. When a service is cancelled or terminated, its data is deleted from our servers and may not be recoverable.
7. Domains
Domain registrations are subject to the policies of the relevant registry and ICANN, including accurate registrant contact details. You are responsible for renewing your domains on time. Expired domains may be lost.
8. Availability and support
We work hard to keep services online and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance and events outside our control may cause downtime. Support is provided through our ticket system and contact form.
9. Cancellation and termination
You can cancel a service at any time from the client area or by opening a support ticket; it will stay active until the end of the paid term unless you ask for immediate cancellation. We may terminate services for non-payment or a breach of these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7M HOST is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the three months before the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of San Diego County, California.
13. Contact
