Every 7M HOST account is backed up automatically once a day. Backups include your website files, databases, email accounts and settings.

Download a backup

1. Log in to your control panel at https://server.7mhost.com:8083.
2. Open the Backups tab.
3. Click the download icon next to the backup you want.

We recommend downloading a copy before making big changes and storing it somewhere safe, such as your computer or cloud storage.

Restore from a backup

1. In the Backups tab, click the restore icon next to a backup.
2. Choose what to restore: everything, or only specific websites, databases or mailboxes.
3. Confirm. You will receive an email when the restore has finished.

Create a backup now

Click Create Backup in the Backups tab to make an extra backup at any time, for example before updating your website.
